What you do after you have filed your petition:
After you have filed your Petition (FL-100), the Summons (FL-110) and, if you have minor children, your UCCJEA (FL-105), then you need to serve filed-endorsed copies of said documents, plus blank response forms, on your spouse
If you do not have minor children, the only blank response form you need to serve your spouse with is the “Response” (FL-120). Click here to go to our Court Forms Database where you can find and then print a blank FL-120 form that you can serve on your spouse.
If you have minor children, then you will also need to serve your spouse with a blank UCCJEA (FL-105) Go to our Court Forms Database to print a blank UCCJEA (FL-105) form that you can serve on your spouse. The following section discusses how to serve your spouse with said forms.
